Privacy policy

This policy covers anekdote.in — these pages, and nothing else. TenUp, at tenup.anekdote.in, has its own policy covering the game itself.

What this site collects

Nothing. anekdote.in is a set of static pages. There is no account system, no form, no comment box, no analytics and no database. I do not know who visits, and no part of this site asks you for a name, an email address, a location or anything else.

The one exception is email you choose to send. If you write to [email protected], I have your message and your address, because that is how email works. I use it to reply and nothing else, and I do not add it to any list.

Advertising

These pages load Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure adverts, and in some regions to personalise them based on your previous visits to this and other sites. This happens between you and Google — no personal information reaches me through it.

You can control it directly with Google:

• My Ad Center — manage or turn off personalised advertising on your Google account.
• How Google uses advertising cookies.
• Google's privacy policy.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalised adverts are shown, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the network requests needed to serve a page to you and keeps operational logs for security and reliability. I do not receive visitor-level data from it.

Children

Nothing here is directed at children under 13, and the site does not knowingly collect information from anyone — see above, it does not collect information at all.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change is significant rather than a correction of wording, it will be noted on this page.
